I grew up playing USTA tournaments from the age of 9. I am half french so in the summers, I would play at Mouratoglou academy in the south of France. I won the singles state championship as a sophomore in high school. Played tennis at Temple University. I then played and coached in France before moving to LA where I also work at the Tennis Channel.

I'm a 4.5 level player. I have worked with high school teams at varsity and beginner levels. I have experience working with kids as young as 3 years old.

Former college player and collegiate coach with a strong track record of athlete development. Coached 10 players onto the all-time scoring list and led teams to conference quarterfinal and semifinal finishes. Skilled in technique, strategy, point construction, and doubles performance at all levels.

I focus on all aspects of tennis from Psychology, Fitness, Tactics, Techniques and Nutrition.

I work at a tennis club where I coach all levels, from red ballers to yellow ballers. Great with kids and adults!

I've been playing tennis for 15 years, played on my Varsity team in high school and played at the state tournament. I continued staying active through college in adult leagues and teaching group tennis lessons to kids, as well as being a TA for the Advanced Tennis course at St Olaf while I studied there. After moving to Chicago, I decided I wanted to teach private lessons too, having developed a stronger appreciation for the mechanics of tennis and everything that goes into improving a player. I'm new to coaching one-on-one, but eager to take all students at all levels to see how I can help them improve their game.

Welcome! I'm Marcin Kosakowski, a coach with over 35 years of playing experience and more than 17 years of teaching experience. As an RSPA Certified Tennis Professional, I have had the privilege of coaching at the Westchester Tennis Center, the prestigious Mountain Gate Country Club, the Ritz Carlton Marina del Rey, and on the ATP Tour, as well as leading junior teams in the Westside Fall Junior League. Tennis has been part of my life from an early age - I grew up in a tennis family, competed nationally as a junior, and played collegiately at the University of California, Santa Barbara (#1 Doubles/#2 Singles) also held the #1 ranking in Souther California doubles and earned an ATP ranking, experiences that continue to shape my coaching approach today. .
